The conservation area in Barrington has not been reviewed since its designation in 1973.
Draft apprasials have been drawn up in consultation with the Parish Council. There is not a statutory requirement to consult with local communities or stakeholders but it was felt to be important to hear a range of views on these draft appraisals before they are finalised.
This appraisal does recommend changes to the conservation area boundaries to include certain areas currently outside the conservation area.
The draft Appraisals can be found alongside links to an online survey where your feedback can be shared.
These are open for comment from Monday 27th September to Sunday October 24th 2021. All comments received will help to shape the final document which will be put forward for adoption.
