The Royal British Legion provides lifelong support for the Armed Forces community – serving men and women, veterans, and their families.
Barrington British Legion has been established for 60 years and present membership is about 50. Guest speakers and outings are arranged. Membership is open for ex-service people and non-service people.
The branch can get in touch with trained care workers and give support to those who served in the armed forces including welfare, legal help, respite care and financial advice. The group meet every two months at the village hall from 7.30 p.m., and collect for Remembrance Day around the village.
New members are very welcome. Come for a visit – no commitment for membership is necessary.
