Barrington Society meeting

Cambridge Museum of Technology and the Pye History Trust.

With a fascinating history from sewage pumping station, the site is now the home of items celebrating the city’s industrial and technical heritage.  Pye, established 1896, an early technical company, were a major Cambridge institution.  Their history is now preserved in a separate area in the Museum for us to discover with a talk by ‘Pye Men’ Bob Bates and Mike Walsall.

Doors open at 7.30pm

Meeting commences 7.50pm

Speaker at 8.00pm

Stay for coffee and meet other members afterwards.
