The Barrington Conservation Area Appraisal is an important document that was developed and consulted upon in 2021, and approved for adoption in early January 2022. This includes the extension of the Conservation Area boundary to the East and to the South as shown on the attached map, effective from 13th January 2022.

Section 5 of the Appraisal document provides useful guidance on the management and enhancement of the Conservation Area. Barrington Parish Council will pay particular regard to this guidance when considering proposed development within or potentially affecting the Conservation Area.
